There’s no better Valentine’s Day gift than waking up to breakfast in bed. And if you’re going to go through the trouble of getting up early and sneaking into the kitchen to whip up a scrumptious surprise breakfast, you certainly want it to look good!
That’s where these adorable muffin toppers come in!
Just start with a batch of your favorite breakfast muffins, add pretty cupcake liners and sprinkles, and finish them off with cute Valentine’s Day muffin toppers.
Making the Valentine’ Day muffin toppers is super simple! Start by downloading the free Valentine’s Day printable muffin topper artwork, print it out on cardstock, and use a 2-inch paper punch to cut out the shapes. Then simply tape the muffin toppers to lollipop sticks or toothpicks and insert them into your Valentine’s Day muffins.
Since it all starts with a delicious muffin recipe that will have your Valentine licking their lips, I’m happy to suggest a few ideas to get you started…
1. Chocolate Covered Strawberry Muffins by Sally’s Baking Addiction
2. Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Muffins by lemons for lulu
3. Sweetheart Jelly Donut Muffins by The Kitchen Prep
Of course, if your Valentine is anything like mine, muffins may not be enough to fill him up. Don’t worry, I’ve put together a few ideas for creative Valentine breakfast items to serve along side your muffins…
1. Bacon Hearts by The Paper Mama
2. Heart Fruit Kabobs by Design Dining Diapers
3. Heart-Shaped Eggs by Anna The Red
Well, what do you think? Are you ready to plan a special Valentine’s Day breakfast in bed?
